Happy Birthday Wyoming

Wyoming became the 44th state in the union on this day in 1890.
Here's Lookin' at you Wyoming

The road might be lonely, but the view is spectacular
125 today and still looking good.

Yep... that sure looks like Wyoming. A word of advice to tourists, however... don't try to drive from Cheyenne to the Montana border in early spring or in the winter... you can bet you'll wind up spending at least a night in the Buffalo Super 8... if they're not full. Been there, done that, and got the T-shirt and mug. :)

Yep, sounds about right. We are between Cheyenne and Buffalo, closer to Cheyenne. On a map I think we are labeled as Wyoming's Banana Belt. Took all three photos within 25 minutes of home. I tell people we live where you can ski in the morning and play golf in the afternoon. We are down low here only 4,300 feet can drive 40 minutes west and go up another 4,000 feet.

Hi- I hope you can help me. I own a local bookstore in Cody Wy. One of my customers receives a publication that encourages them to contact their local bookstore (as opposed to ordering on Amazon) in order to purchase your Guernsey book. I cannot find any contact information for your publisher. Am I able to obtain books through you? I own The Thistle in Cody. 307-587-6635. Or you can email me at: mikesellgrowney@hotmal.com. Thank you! My name is Sarah Mikesell Growney.
