What struck me was that you could see where the rocks for knapping where sported out and you could see where they were worked into tools. The spot where the person doing the knapping sat and their feet were clear of knapping debris and even failed tools remained. He tested about 4000 other fibers before reaching the bamboo filament, he tested another 9000 before finding tungsten. Edison was a lifelong tinkerer, not a scientist. Take a look at the hundreds of patents he has for 'improvements' on his lightbulb. Traction was my great-aunt's cheating husband, who abused her and their kids. Few tell how he got caught, or that it was his own family that spotted him hiding the loot and turned him in, while he was visiting his neighbor's wife, for another of his trusts with her. Proving once again, its best to act like a gentleman ALL the time, not just as you steal other people's property. In the end, his wife and kids used his prison time to relocate far from their previous home and started new lives, though he searched for them, he died before discovering he was w within a block of their home, when he died of a heart attack on the streets of the California city where they had taken refuge. I have perhaps the only image of him with his family.
